With Girls' Generation's Japanese single 'MR.TAXI' having only just hit the shelves on the 27th, the track has already quickly gained popularity, opening to strong sales and topping charts in it's first day. Kicking off the start to promotions, Universal Music Japan has released the much awaited 'MR.TAXI' PV (Promotional Video), to the excitement of fans world-wide.

Unlike the previously released 'MR.TAXI' dance PV which showed the girls dancing on soundstages, the official PV also features close-up shots of every member as well as some glittery backdrops and some very Disney "Tron"-like flashes. With their unique dance moves, fierce expressions and cool outfits, the group exude a powerful and sexy feel.

'MR. TAXI' Dance MV Released

As the hours tick off until the 'MR. TAXI' album is officially released to the public on April 27th, a dance version of Girls' Generation's 'MR. TAXI' music video has been posted.

Universal Music Japan, which owns Natuyawave Records, Girls' Generation's music label in Japan, has just released the music video. The girls wear two outfits in the music video: the yellow outfits with black trim that are reminiscent of taxi cabs, and black leather catsuits, while dancing on mostly black soundstages. One soundstage has a full-size screen in the back, while the other soundstage shows a colorful picture of the globe. The girls perform their much-awaited dances, including the steering-wheel dance and the gear-shift dance, again hinting at cars, or specifically taxis in this case.

Unnie Jessica Roots For Dongsaeng Krystal

Posted Image

On April 22nd, SM group f(x) made their comeback through KBS Music Bank with performances of the tracks “Pinocchio” and “Gangsta Boy” from their first full-length album. Also garnering attention was the fact that Girls’ Generation’s Jessica went straight to the waiting room to support her little sister, Krystal.

One official stated “Jessica came to support Krystal and f(x)’s comeback” and “During the recording of the comeback, she cheered from the sidelines”. With Girls’ Generation becoming busier due to their activities in Japan, Jessica coming to support Krystal shows the tight bond between the two sisters.

Meanwhile, after almost a year away, f(x) have already conquered various music sites with their new album “Pinocchio”.
