Just this month, Japanese magazine ‘SPUR’ got to sit down and interview the girls, discussing topics such as their preferred fashion styles, charms, images, (link at end of article), and even gave a brief video interview in which they discussed mostly the significance of the color pink. In the video, the girls were seen wearing bright, lively outfits, and shortly after the interview began, started to discuss the color pink. Seohyun said, “When I think of pink I think of Tiffany-unnie…” The girls nodded in agreement and our resident manager Tiffany herself spoke, saying that the color pink carries a special significance to her members because not only do all of the girls adore the color, but also since it is the color of their fanclub, so they feel that is has an important meaning. Yuri then said that she recently changed her room’s wallpaper to pink, as she has begun to like pink more and more recently. Hyoyeon then said jokingly that she switched to a pink toothbrush, causing everyone to giggle. Whether or not she was kidding we do not know... They discussed some other things they bought recently that were pink, and were once again brought back to Tiffany’s overwhelming love for pink. The video ended on a happy note, where all of the girls agreed that pink was special because of their fanclub, and then with a final ‘We love pink!’ shoutout for the viewers. Students from the prestigious Stanford University visited South Korea as part of a 27-days program called the 'Korea Global Study Trip 2011'. Organized by SM Entertainment and held at the company's building in Cheongdam, the agenda of the trip includes discussions regarding SM Entertainment's unique yet successful business strategies that have become a benchmark worldwide. Artistes from the company attended one of the talks, including members of Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x) and solo singers Kangta & Zhang Liyin. There were praises and positive feedback from the Stanford Business School students who commented that "the evolution of SM producer Lee Sooman is terrific" and "the teaching was very passionate". This wouldn't be the first time Girls' Generation has had direct interactions with students coming from reputable schools. In March 2009, the girls taught the basics of their 'Gee' dance to 32 students from the Harvard Law School. Their presence was well-received by the students who had requested for Girls' Generation to be there. Written by: shizzles9@soshified.com Source: Chosun
On March 27th, Intel Korea revealed that they had shown a 3D version of their “Visual Dreams” music video featuring Girls’ Generation. On the 26th, Intel invited both consumers and Intel officials to an exclusive screening to watch the music video. The “Visual Dreams” campaign was introduced earlier this year when Intel introduced their second generation core processor, except for this occasion; the video was re-introduced in 3D. "Intel’s new technology makes 3D images easier and more fun to produce, as shown by a video episode," Intel officials said. The video episode featured the Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon, Yoona, and Seohyun, all of whom who showed that Intel technology can be taken advantage of in your daily life with just a camera image. The episode consisted of the segments: “Seohyun’s Directorial Debut of her Music Video,” “Yoona’s Fashion,” and “Yoona’s confrontation with the Emperor of Starcraft 2 Terran: BOXER.” Spokesman Heesung of Intel Korea went onto say, “The girls weave together an interesting episode to deliver the message to consumers that Intel’s technology is familiar and easy to use.” The episode mentioned is shown below, courtesy of the SSF Subbing Team:
On the 26th of March broadcast of "We Got Married", CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa and Girls' Generation's Seohyun venture on their last date together. Theirlast missionwas to give each other the happiest day as their gift. Sure enough, both of them tried to make the date as special and as memorable as possible, but our Seohyun went the extra mile to make a last stunning impression in front of her on-screen husband. Seohyun looked as if she had forgotten how to play the guitar, but she picked up the guitar and started playing the chords of the "Banmal Song", a song they once sang together regarding politeness. Seohyun said, If we weren't polite to each other, we would probably be regretting it now,". Yonghwa was touched at the thought that Seohyun worked really hard to present the song, even to the point of changing the lyrics. He did not expect the change to the song, and that left him speechless. Check out the Soshified subbed version of the song below:

Amidst SNSD's preparation for their up-coming Japanese album, footage of the group practising in their training room has recently surfaced on the net. The video shows the girls going over the dance routine for "My Best Friend", the third track on their third mini-album "Hoot". Unlike the stage performance which shows the members performing in cute white dresses, this video features the girls in dork mode; dressed in comfortable clothes and playing around throughout the course of the practice session. The video has already caused excitement amongst fans, with many enjoying the girls' adorable antics. Judging from the members' hairstyles, the footage seems to have been taken before "Hoot" promotions begun in late October last year. As the girls are not currently promoting, it's the perfect little gift to get SONEs laughing again.
“Himnae (Way to Go)”, the follow up track on SNSD’s first extremely popular mini-album, “Gee,” has been chosen as the #1 song to cheer up those who have been saddened by the recent Japanese earthquake on the music site Monkey3. The officials on the Korean music site Monkey3 asked the question, “what song displayed the best message of hope and courage?” A great majority of those who voted picked “Himnae (Way to Go)” as their #1 choice, with 40% of the vote going to the upbeat track. They stated this was because “Himnae (Way to Go)” allowed its listeners to feel the energy of the track as well as feel the girls cheering them on. Kim Soohyun’s song “Dreaming” from the Dream High OST was the runner-up garnering 29% of the vote, while In Sooni’s “Goose’s Dream” received 11%.
Intel, the world’s largest semiconductor chip maker, just released new shorts featuring Taeyeon, Yoona, and Seohyun. This time, Intel has the three aforementioned girls using technology powered by Intel. The girls tout its speed when performing various tasks on the computer, including editing videos, converting files, displaying images, and gaming. Other computer features provided by Intel are mentioned, such as wireless display, 3D video capability, and high-definition videos and pictures. The girls act like their happy selves and have fun with Intel’s capabilities. StarCraft player Lim Yo-Hwan makes a cameo playing StarCraft with Yoona in one of the episodes, and hisgirlfriend tweeted Soshifiedthanking the forumfor its work on the video.
