Girls' Generation Wins Best Pop Video at "Space Shower Music Video Awards"
Space Tower TV hosted the annual music video festival "Space Shower Music Video Awards" earlier today. Girls' Generation won Best Pop Video for their Japanese song 'GENIE'.
Up against tough competitors like AKB48 (Ponytail to Shushu), Perfume (Voice), Abe Mao (Lonely) and MONKEY MAJIK (Sakura), the girls came out top and clinched the award. They are also the first foreign artist to have won for the category in the entire history of the festival.
The "Space Shower Music Video Awards" is a yearly event that started in 1996, and this win marks Girls' Generation's increasing influence in the country.
