Awards season is kicking off, and Girls’ Generation has been nominated in four categories for the Mnet Asian Music Awards.
Even though their third album, “The Boys”, has just been released, Girls’ Generation is nominated for Best Female Group, Best Dance Performance – Female Group, Song of the Year, and Artist of the Year. Taeyeon is also nominated in the Best OST and Song of the Year categories for her song “I Love You” from Athena.
The Mnet Asian Music Awards are being held on November 29th at 7pm(GMT+9) at Singapore Indoor Stadium. Online voting begins on November 1st on the official MAMA site . Also, there is a possibility that SM artists may be performing at the awards show.
Meanwhile, “The Boys” has been topping charts since its release and completely dominating Youtube with over 13 million views in its first week.
