Girls' Generation to Perform at MTV Video Music Aid Japan
Last month, it was announced that Girls' Generation's debut Japanese single "Genie" had been nominated for three awards for the MTV Music Video Aid Japan: Best Group Video, Best Video of the Year, and Best Karaokee! Song. The awards ceremony itself will take place on June 25 at the Mukuhari Messe in Chiba. It has now been confirmed that Girls' Generation will be among the performers at the awards ceremony. The girls will perform live at the ceremony along with Lady Gaga, fellow SM Entertainment artist SHINee, and several other artists.
Voting is still open for the Music Video Aid Japan awards, and SONEs can continue voting for Girls' Generation until June 15.
